About

I'm a data scientist who somehow ended up loving both genomics and heavy equipment pricing — which says more about how transferable good statistical thinking is than it does about any grand career plan. Over the past decade-plus I've built predictive models and production ML systems for teams that needed to make real calls: how to price a used excavator, which genetic variant to trust, which crop trait to chase next. Right now I lead pricing and valuation analytics at Caterpillar. Before that, I spent nearly seven years at Bayer, where I built genomic data science capability that translated into impactful outcomes across different organizations. I like the part of this job that's equal parts statistics and translation — turning a model's output into something an executive can actually use to make a decision.
